KBSL ties up with Tekelec to provide solutions across Dialog Telekom’s network

Tekelec a leading developer of high-performance network applications for next-generation fixed, mobile and packet networks announced that Dialog Telekom, Sri Lanka’s flagship telecommunications company, has selected the TekelecEAGLE(R) 5 Integrated Signaling System (EAGLE 5 ISS) to support itssubstantial customer growth in the region.


Dialog Telekom has experienced significant subscriber growth during recent years. With this trend set to continue, the operator required a robustsolution to support its growth as well a platform for deploying network applications.


Tekelec’s EAGLE 5 ISS will support Dialog Telekom’s current needs while providing a flexible platform to handle additional signaling capabilities and applications in the future. The implementation was carried out by Tekelec’s representative, Keells Business Systems Limited (KBSL), which also provides other support to Dialog Telekom.
