MAS Intimates wins SAP Award for Customer Excellence 2007

MAS Intimates Pvt. Ltd. was awarded the SAP ACE 2007 (Awards for Customer Excellence) in the Best Textiles and Apparel Sector Implementation - Large Enterprises Category during an award ceremony organized by SAP on 27th August 2007, at the Hyatt Regency, New Delhi, India.


SAP ACE recognizes the best leveraging of a SAP solution to manage and drive the business, while supporting strategic decision making, business transformation and managing growth.


The awards are a re-affirmation of SAP’s long term commitment to strengthen customer partnerships in the Indian Subcontinent. Insights gained during the evaluation process will be leveraged in creating solutions and service innovations in the future.


SAP Indian Continent President and CEO Ranjan Das said in his letter to the company: “it is an honour for SAP to recognize and reward best-run businesses like MAS which are setting global benchmarks in excellence. In 2004, MAS Intimates restructured their business model moving from a product centric organization to one that is customer centric. MAS Intimates SAP team launched Project Fusion to reorient the information infrastructure to facilitate this change of focus. This included an organisational culture change towards information orientation with employees at all levels working seamlessly on information generated on SAP.


Commenting on the news, MAS Intimates Managing Director Dian Gomes said: “This is a validation of our commitment to information technology as a key driver of business value addition. We are excelling in all spheres of our business to provide our customers superior service.”
MAS have re-aligned their IT policy to meet the needs of a fast evolving business in close alliance with customers and suppliers.
