Using Broadband to offer In-Demand Communications Services

This talk will focus on the use of broadband to deploy high consumer demand value added services such as Unified Messaging, Conferencing and Collaboration.

These services are now evolving across  North American, European and Asian Markets  to include  Video Mail, Video Conferencing, and integrated products such as Click to Conference.  Such services are optimally served up to diverse markets and affinity groups via powerful and brandable video portals. Providing user control and accommodating user preferences is key to attracting and keeping new subscribers, and video portals are proving to be highly successful at both tasks. In addition, they are a perfect fit for on-the-fly new service introductions, changes and trials. Using both internally-developed and partnered

technologies in video portals and customizable video applications for consumers, the speaker will draw on field results to highlight what mixes of features and platform components seem to be most successfully delivering convergence of video services and personalized features.
