DSS juniors enter under 15 final

D.S. Senanayake led by Bishma Pitigala ended with an unbeaten record to enter the final round of the under 15 division ‘C’ schools Astra Cup cricket tournament conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association .


DSS won on first innings over President’s College Rajagiriya, Hanwella Rajasinghe MV and Isipatana ‘C’ while S. de S. Jayasinghe MV Dehiwela and Ananda Vidyalaya Kottawa matches ended in no-decisions.
Pitigala finished with fine all round performances and also led the side well to enter the final round. Sameera Madushanka was the most successful batsman with two centuries while Tharindi Ilanperuma was among the wickets in the first round.
