Toyota selects IFS HR solution

IFS announced that Toyota Lanka charges ahead to implement IFS HR Solution for efficient administering of their employees. The tie up took place last week attended by the representatives from both IFS Solutions and Toyota Lanka.

IFS HR Solutions gives three fold benefits. It focuses three main aspects that makes IFS HR Solution unique among the rest available solutions.
IFS HR Solutions concentrates on an all process human resource administration that is integrated with each other in a common database allowing you to save all necessary data in one focal place whilst saving time on recruitment processes to employment motivation, relocation and competence development.

More over the role – based portals component embedded in the system gives access to all employee access to the human resource system via a personal portal where information is easily adapted to the needs of each individual, so it becomes personalized just like a personal internet portal and since the system is self instructing the user can never go wrong.
Lastly the strategic human resource in the system supplies the tools that clarify competence development plans for each individual thereby increasing motivation and minimizing the risk of resignation whilst documenting the available intellectual resource in an enterprise and store it to use it later for strategic analysis.

Speaking his thoughts on the tie up with Toyota Vice President IFS Solutions Sri Lanka Jayantha de Silva said “IFS HR Solution is just not another in the market. In a nut shell it congregates more efficient administration, more time for strategic planning and business development, faster and better reporting, beeter tools for controlling and analyzing projects, enhanced control of employee’s competence and strategic recruitment and training.”

He also added “Our system is built on a number of components that play a vital part in Human resource Management which makes it easy to grow in the system. So this gives the organization to implement our system first with the very essential components at low cost and fast management, and the liberty to add on as the need arises. Most of all IFS HR Solutions could be used by all and not limited to the IT savy or the experts. We offer role faced portal which provides the user with ease just as surfing the internet.”

The IFS HR Solutions provides Toyota Lanka with functions such as automated Recruitment process, employee succession planning for choosing the right person to be trained for the job, integrated business performance identifiers such as the KPI indicators are embedded to the system to gage performance in comparison to target provided, employee and self Appraisal methods that are transparent and Sales and customer support that will enable Toyota Lanka to be in par with the functions.
More over the components set in the IFS HR Solution includes Human Resource Training and Development, Competence mapping and Development Training, Recruitment and leave planning.

Presenting his views on choosing IFS as their HR Solutions Manager Information and Communication Technology Nilusha Abeyanayake said “Human resource is the most vital component that contributes towards the success of an organization. We at Toyota Lanka thus focus on adding value to our employees whilst optimizing their potential for the growth of the company as well as the self development. Seeking to maintain one system for the company by which all networks were inter linked was viewed as a growth oriented perspective. Among the organizations that presented their solutions IFS Applications looked far ahead of many. We were happy to engage IFS Applications as the modules or the components of the IFS HR Solution were on par with the global HR Strategy followed by Toyota Global. More over our relationship with IFS was another advantage which gave us the complacency to work together on more projects. So there was no hesitation. We our proud to have been associated with a global standard solutions provider who we are sure will add the value to our strategic human resource management.”

IFS Application and Toyota Lanka goes along way in business relationship. IFS Application has provided Toyota Lanka with solutions based on Distribution and Inventory management, Financials and Service Managements and now with HR solution and further more plans to also implement IFS CRM Solutions in the future. This relationship has also paved the path way for IFS to extend its services to two Toyota companies in Japan. More over Toyota Lanka is the first automobile company in Sri Lanka to use IFS HR Solution.
