BnS renews KIT with Dialog

Dialog Telekoms pre-paid brand, KIT, renewed its contract
with longtime Brand Ambassadors Bathiya and Santhush for a third
term. The agreement, which lasted five years, is the longest running
partnership between a group of artistes and a company in the region,
Dialog Telekom said.
Popular songsters, Bathiya and Santhush, first signed up with KIT
in 2003 and were featured in a number of successful campaigns, where
the pair also composed and performed original jingles for the Brand.
Dialog Telekoms Group Chief Marketing Officer, Nushad Perera,
remarked that music has become an integral part of modern youth
and Bathiya and Santhush have revolutionised this segment with their
flamboyance and creative talents.
Dialog Telekoms Head of Marketing Dialog Mobile, Hasrath
Munasinghe, told The Bottom Line that the partnership has built
synergies with both parties capitalising on each others equity.
The tie-up would help the Brand to consolidate and grow as
a youth icon. Along with other joint initiatives in the pipeline,
both Bathiya and Santhush and KIT are poised to stand strong and
build its position as the number one youth brand, he said.
The series of fun-loving and high-spirited advertising campaigns
done with the duo, depicting changing and progressive lifestyle
of youth through music, dance, fashion, idolism and adventure, have
created the ideal brand image for KIT, Munasinghe added.
