Asian Alliance launches home-made non-life insurance IT system


Asian Alliance Insurance Ltd., (AAIL) recently launched the Non-life Insurance IT System.


This memorable event is the result of the untiring efforts made by the Company’s IT professionals and the staff of the Non-life division. This event was a success thanks to the invaluable support and guidance rendered by Mr. Ainsley Alles (General Manager Non Life).

This outstanding Non-life System was built by the Company’s IT professionals. In view of their capability and dedication AAI has been able to save a significant cost by way of developing this very user friendly system in house; thus improving company profitability, and saving approximately Rs. 40 million on a “off the shelf” packaged product .
The System consists of the following modules that ensure the smooth functioning of the Non-life division: Underwriting Module, Reinsurance Module, MIS Module, Finance Module and Claims Module.


This System has been developed in such a manner to improve customer service efficiency to all stakeholders, which will further justify the Company’s professionalism. It further enhances the operational workflow by automating the entire Non-Life operation system.

This IT System is an internally designed and modularized, which provides user friendly and scalable solutions, comprising functional and reporting modules that run on Microsoft Windows.

This remarkable development will help provide professional insurance solutions to all clients, which will further authenticate Asian Alliance Insurance as the true professional in the industry.

The CEO at the launch commended the company’s IT team lead by Mr. Amal Dharmapriya - Manager IT, for this unprecedented achievement which Asian Alliance is proud of! It was also stressed that this would be the beginning of many more IT based innovations in the near future, to support the strategies and business model adopted at Asian Alliance.
