JVP goes to Court against budget Bill

The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) yesterday filed a petition with the Supreme Court, challenging the Appropriation Bill on the grounds that the 5th and 6th Clauses of the Bill are against Article 148, where the exclusive right of Parliament on finance control, has been abdicated.
