Roles of corporate entities, CIM in a developing economy


The Annual CEOs’ Breakfast Forum and the Fellows and Chartered Marketers Forum organized by The Chartered Institute of Marketing Sri Lanka Region, will be held in the morning and the evening, respectively of 16th November 2007 at Salon Anthurium, Hotel Galadari. Mr. Paul Gostick, The Chairman of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) International Board of Trustees, will grace both events as the Chief Guest.

The Institute is honored to have Mr. Julian Wilson, Head of Delegation of the European Commission to Sri Lanka and Mr. Robert Blake, Ambassador for the United States to Sri Lanka & Maldives also at these exclusive forums which are positioned as the apex events in The Institute’s calendar. The focus of this year’s CEO’s Breakfast Forum and The Chartered Marketers’ Forum is to apprise the senior marketers and business organizations on the role of corporate entities in a developing economy and the role of CIM within this framework.


The Institute has invited CEOs and top level decision makers of organizations to the CEO’s Breakfast Forum which will be addressed by the Chairman of The CIM International Board of Trustees, Mr. Paul Gostick and the Guest of Honour, Mr. Julian Wilson. Asian Alliance Insurance has tied up with The Institute as the exclusive Event Sponsor of The CEOs’ Breakfast Forum 2007 for the second consecutive year.


The Fellows and Chartered Marketers Forum is exclusively for Chartered Marketers and Fellows of The Institute and is organized to welcome the new Chartered Marketers and to provide a forum for senior marketing professionals to share their knowledge and network with each other, similar to the CIM Fellows Dinner held annually in UK at Moor Hall, the head office of The Chartered Institute of Marketing.

This year, nearly 30 members of The Chartered Institute of Marketing Sri Lanka Region will be conferred the Chartered Marketer status by the Chief Guest, Mr. Paul Gostick. The Guest of Honour and Keynote Speaker at the event, Mr. Robert Blake will address the audience on “The Role of Corporate Entities In a Developing Economy” and the Chief Guest will address the audience on “The Role of CIM In a Developing Economy”. Eagle Insurance, for the second consecutive year, has collaborated with The Chartered Institute of Marketing Sri Lanka Region as the strategic partner of this exclusive event.
