Arpico donates Road Block signs to Police

Richard Pieris & Company Limited (RPC), one of Sri Lanka’s foremost blue chip enterprises and the owners of the Arpico Brand recently donated some much needed “Road Blocks” to the Maharagama Police division.


Mr. Derrick Perera, Brand Manager with the Arpico Local Manufacturing and Distribution (LMD) sector discussing about the donation said “As a truly Sri Lankan organization that touches the lives of people across the island we felt that this type of a contribution would be much appreciated by the local Police considering the sensitive security situation in the country.

Therefore, as part of community service plan we decided to handover this first consignment of Road Blocks to the local Police.”


The LMD sector of Richard Pieris & Company is engaged in marketing and selling of items such as Plastishells Tanks, Arpifoam Mattresses, Plastic Products, etc.. and commands a market leadership in all of the above products.


Mr. Derrick Perera also said that this was the first step of a broad program planned to donate “Road Blocks” to some of the main Police Stations in the island.
