X’mas mag Noel out soon
Sri Lanka’s only Christmas magazine Noel will be released shortly
to celebrate the spirit of the season. This very popular magazine,
which has been issued free for the past several years, will be available
at places such as shopping malls and supermarkets.
This year’s Noel will feature a range of interesting articles
pertaining to Christmas, capturing both its spiritual and secular
aspects. These include reminiscences of how Christmas was celebrated
in the good old days in Sri Lanka, recollections of Christmases
celebrated overseas, some tantalizing recipes for the season, hot
fashions and hairstyles, and the origin of popular Christmas customs
and traditions.
There
will also be Christmas trivia, poetry, a short story for children,
enchanting Christmas paintings by great artists, and a quiz to win
a wonderful holiday package.
Noel has enjoyed immense popularity during the past few years, and
this year’s issue is bound to be a great success due to the
range of articles that appeal to every taste. It is published by
the reputed advertising agency Holmes Pollard & Stott.
