This is the third major development by CRE, the newest player in
the property development market, backed by the financial strength
of Carson Cumberbatch & Co Ltd, and it features their hallmarks
of style, convenience and total security.
Aptly christened Asia’s Newest City, Metropolis is a massive
undertaking that it will be rolled out over two phases with a total
development size of over 6 acres. Building on approximately 30%
or about 900 perches only, the nine-tower, condominium complex will
be styled around the concept of a resort city offering an unmatched
variety of facilities. Aside from its 524 apartments – many
of them featuring breathtaking ocean views – Asia’s Newest
City will also have its fair share of restaurants, cafes, pools,
gyms (with sauna facilities), a spa and even a medical centre with
24-hour doctor on call. There will even be an executive lounge for
added convenience.
The selection of apartments on offer is also unique, as all are
priced very reasonably, with sizes of units varying from a very
affordable 920 Square Feet sized one bedroom Studio apartment, to
a much roomier 2,350 Square Feet, four bedroom apartment. In addition,
there are a number of facilities included such as laundry facilities,
24-hour cleaning services and BBQ pits for residents. Other highlights
of the complex include around-the-clock security by way of CCTV
systems and resident only access through control cards.
Meanwhile, to provide residents with the true ambiance of a lush
resort, Metropolis will be utilising the balance acreage to effectively
“green” the development by creating wide-open vistas of
greenery along with plenty of landscaping. There will also be a
recreational area for families to enjoy outdoor park type activates,
jogging tracks as well as wide roads for improved vehicle access.
Phase one of Metropolis, featuring 221 apartments in four towers,
is expected to be launched in the near future.
