The 43rd Chartered Accountants Annual Report Awards Competition – 2007, organized by the ICASL (Institute of Chartered Accountants Sri Lanka) was held on the 30th of November 2007 at Cinnamon Grand. These awards, instituted by the ICASL, recognize and honor organizations that have achieved excellence in the reporting procedures as per the Accounting Standards of Sri Lanka. Asian Alliance Insurance PLC was adjudged the Bronze Reward winner in the Insurance Sector for the Annual Report for year 2006 with the theme “Dream It. Live It”. AAI believes that the award was a result of the professional approach followed in designing the Annual Report coupled with the team work. The objective of designing the report was to give a comprehensive and transparent picture of the financial performance and strength of the Company, in an effective manner. AAI considers the award as recognition to the professionalism they maintain in this highly confidence based industry.
