Dozen LTTE cadres killed in Jaffna

At least 12 LTTE cadres were killed and two bunkers destroyed yesterday during attacks in Mullikulam, Periyathampanai and Jaffna.

The Media Centre for National Security said that six LTTE cadres were killed during a confrontation at Mullikulam,Vavuniya at around 10:00 a.m yesterday, while another four cadres were killed during another confrontation at Periyathampanai at around 1:00 p.m. Tuesday.

In another incident, troops in a surprise move at around 5:40 a.m. attacked and destroyed two LTTE terrorist bunkers. During the confrontation, two LTTE cadres were also killed.
