Murali to be felicitated in Parliament today

Test cricket’s highest wicket taker Muttiah Muralitharan will be felicitated in Parliament by parliamentarians for his record breaking feat of capturing 700 wickets.

The felicitation will be held at 12.00 noon at the parliamentary complex on January 10 (Afternoon).

During the first Test against England in Kandy, on December 3, 2007, Muralitharan broke the record of Australian bowler Shane Warne when he took his 700th test wicket in his 116th Test match.
