Boggles in Singapore

Globe trotting Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama is at present on a private visit to Singapore.

Sources told The Bottom Line that the minister, who had left the country during the weekend, is scheduled to return this week.

The source also said that at a time when the country was embroiled in dilemma, owing to actions of the LTTE, following the government’s decision to abrogate the ceasefire agreement, the foreign minister should be in the country to keep abreast of the happenings and also keep the international community aware of developments. “But instead the minister, who is forever abroad, is now again overseas, but this time on a private visit running up to several days,” sources added.
