ETI impresses in MCA ‘C’ division

First time sponsors Edirisinghe Trust Investments Ltd. making their first appearance in the MCA Division ‘C’ 50 overs League Tournament recorded their first win grounding SriLankan Airlines ‘A’ by 80 runs.

The match-winners for ETI were E.V. Ganegoda (92 runs in 95 balls, including 11 fours, 1 six) and Yasath de Silva (6 for 44).

ETI’s earlier match against MAS Active Synergy ended in a no-result due to bad weather.

Stafford Motors, E-wis and newcomers MAS Active Synergy too had the satisfaction of recording their first wins beating Confifi Group, JL Morison and Slimline respectively.
