Restaurant ‘within a restaurant’ at Hilton Colombo


With the ever increasing popularity of Indian cuisine, the Hilton Colombo brings for the first time to Sri Lanka a new concept of a ‘Restaurant within a Restaurant’ Spices the hotels all day international dining restaurant will introduce a new Indian a la carte menu. Master Indian Chef Parwan Rana Singh, has created a wonderful assortment of North Indian dishes as well as specialties from other regions of India. Chef Pawan will also be assisted by another Indian Chef to ensure all meal periods are guaranteed to be cooked by our master Indian Chefs, all seven days in the week. What is also unique is that Indian food will be added to the biggest breakfast in Sri Lanka. The Spices Restaurant boasts a Japanese, Chinese, International, seafood and Sri Lankan stations already and will now also be complimented by the Indian station as well.

Within Spices, a small section of the restaurant will be dedicated to Indian cuisine and the India a la carte will be on offer to all guests. However, wherever you sit, you can enjoy the wonderful dishes that are on display. Your table will also be set up in a special Indian style and all food will be served in traditional Indian copper pots.

The whole menu will also be available for In-Room Dining.

This new ‘restaurant within a restaurant’ concept adds a further dimension to the hotels’ dynamic and innovative food and beverage department. Watch out as other cuisines are under consideration in the future. From the 5th February, everyone will have an opportunity to enjoy the wonderful culinary expertise Chef Pawan and his team.
