HNB will give away a Toyota Avanza car this Avurudu

Savers can look forward to win a fabulous Toyota Avanza car this Avurudu when they save with HNB ‘Pathum Vimana.’ As a special feature of the ‘Pathum Vimana’ 2008 scheme the first Toyota Avanza car draw will be held for the month of April.

To qualify for this draw all you have to do is maintain a minimum balance of Rs 10,000 in a savings account or ‘Singithi’ savings account or current account for a period of one calendar month prior to the draw. And to qualify for the premium draw a minimum balance of Rs 100,000 has to be maintained in a savings or a ‘Singithi’ savings account or a minimum balance of Rs 50,000 has to be maintained in a current account for one calendar month immediately prior to the draw.

HNB ‘Pathum Vimana’ is the largest deposit draw introduced by a private commercial bank operating in Sri Lanka. With prizes worth more than 100 million rupees offered throughout the year. This year from ‘Pathum Vimana’ 2008, HNB has decided to give away more than 12,000 prizes. Through ‘Pathum Vimana’ 2008 customers can win a luxury apartment in the heart of Colombo, from the year end premium draw and an Audi A 4 car from the mid year premium draw. The year end grand draw will offer a luxury Mitsubishi Montero jeep and in addition to the Toyota Avanza draw in April there will be draws held in June and September to give away Toyota Avanza cars. This year, customers will also have the opportunity to participate in the HNB ‘Pathum Vimana’ 2008 game show and win cash prizes ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 100,000weekly. The TV game show is telecast on Rupavahini every Friday at 7.30 p.m. All qualifying account holders will be entitled to multiple chances at the draws. The number of chances depend on the amount in the account (one extra chance for every multiple of the minimum deposit) and the period (one extra chance for every month) during which the amount is maintained in the account.


HNB Customer Centres to open for extended hours

In view of the Sinhala and Tamil Avurudu season, selected HNB Customer Centres will be kept open for New Year till 5 p.m. from 1st April 1 to 10, 2008.

This will greatly benefit a large number of customers who can carry out their banking transactions conveniently at about 58 HNB Customer Centres covering key urban and outstation towns. During the extended business hours 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. will be able to receive foreign remmitances, carry out cash and cheque deposits and withdrawals and access certain other front office services.

The Customer Centres that will be kept open for extended hours are Head Office Branch, Cinnamon Gardens, Nawam Mawatha – Extension Office (City Office), Kandy, Gampola, Matale, Nuwara Eliya, Mahiyangana, Pettah Extension Office (from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. and from 4.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.) Wellawatte Branch, Sea Street, Aluthkade, Borella, Kotahena, Piliyandala, Panadura, Nugegoda, Homagama, Kottawa, Horana, Boralesgamuwa, Anuradhapura Branch, Dambulla, Kegalle, Kuliyapitiya, Kurunegala Branch, Nikaweratiya, Nochchiyagama, Polonnaruwa, Thambuttegama, Vavuniya, Batticaloa, Trincomalee Branch, Periyakade Extension Office (Trinco), Kiribathgoda, Kadawatha, Gampaha, Negombo Branch, Aluthgama, Ambalangoda, Ambalantota, Deniyaya, Elpitiya, Galle Branch, Karapitiya Extension Office, Kalutara, Matara Branch, Akuressa Extension Office, Mathugama, Suriyawewa, Tangallle, Tissamaharama, Ratnapura, Ampara, Bandarawela, Kahawatte, Welimada, and Pelmadulla.
