Mariks from Kandy
Kings of the local club rugby Kandy Sports Club
who have been dominating the game since 1990 are all out to retain
their status as the top rugby team in the country according to skipper
Sean Wijesinghe.
Kandy
SC has been a major force in the club rugby scene during the last
one and half decades. Their great rise in rugby was mainly due to
the dedication of the players, the discipline they followed and
the backing they got from their godfather Malik Samarawickrema and
the committee.
The
rugby lovers of Kandy, who have been giving their best for their
home town club whenever they play hope that their favorite club
will do well this time too. They are hoping that the new captain
Wijesinghe will get the much needed team effort to keep the club
flag flying high.
