Suzuki Maruti to reward customers with lavish gifts this New Year season

Suzuki Maruti - the brand that emphatically marked its continuing dominance of the brand new motor vehicle category by becoming the highest selling brand for the fifth year running- is set to reward every one of the first 150 customers with gifts in a unique gift scheme, Associated Motorways plc., sole agents for Suzuki Maruti in Sri Lanka announced in a press release.

Generally accepted as the best value proposition by price conscious consumers, the Suzuki Maruti brand has blazed new trails in sales racing ahead of other brands and reconditioned vehicle sales.

The gift scheme, costing AMW Rs. 3.75 million rewards those first off the block in purchasing their Suzuki Maruti vehicles during April by awarding gifts worth up to Rs. 25,000 each for the first 150 customers.

The free gifts range from vouchers worth Rs. 25,000 to purchase any item marketed by Singer Sri Lanka, a Dialog TV connection offering 30 channels along with an year’s subscription pre-paid, or a choice of motor accessories namely a reverse camera with a video display, a central locking system or Valeo parking sensors from France.

While the choice makes the offer more attractive, due to the limited amount of gift stocks of motor accessories in hand, AMW has urged customers to make haste and purchase their vehicles before stocks run out. The offer is valid for purchases made from AMW branches in Kandy, Matara, Kurunegala, Negombo, Ratnapura as well as from the main showroom at Baudhaloka Mawatha, Colombo.

`Since our sales generally exceed 150 units a month, I think the gifts aren’t going to last long; as there are only 150 gifts available, I would urge customers to be quick to grab those on offer’ said Virann de Zoysa, Marketing Manager of Suzuki Maruti.

Despite the entry of several other brands in the category, demand for Suzuki Maruti continues to grow. Industry experts believe the exceptional fuel efficiency of these nippy vehicles to be one of the main reasons for the strong demand. These hardy well-built cars handle Sri Lankan conditions well and their reliability is legendary. Low maintenance costs and low-priced spares are also mentioned as reasons for their popularity. It is however now evident that customers are also quick to see that these vehicles retain their value longer, said de Zoysa, adding that AMW has several concessions for buyers to ease the burden of purchase price. The free gift adds another value proposition, was his opinion,

When questioned as to what they were, de Zoysa elaborated by stating that customers who purchase Suzuki Maruti models receive free registration and number plates costing Rs. 10,000. An extended warranty of 50,000 km adds further value, he asserted.
