Colombo’s finest Italian restaurant, ‘The Bay Leaf’, brings Italy’s best known culinary delight - Pizzas  in a special April promotion for local enthusiasts.

The four signature pizzas to be launched on 15th April are Pizza Tikka (Mozzarella, Mushrooms, Mixed Peppers, Fresh Chillie, Chicken Tikka and Red Onions), Pizza Mermaid (Prawns, Tuna, Anchovies, Fresh Tomato, Calamari and Black Olives), Pizza Milano (Mushroom, Salami, Anchovies, sun-dried Tomato and Gorgonzola) and Pizza BBQ Spicy Dream (Mushroom, Mixed Peppers, Sweet Corn and Chicken Breast smothered in BBQ Sauces).Together with this is also the Pizza of the Month  Pizza Siciliana - with its generous helpings of Fresh Garlic, Ham, Anchovies, Chillie, Sun-dried Tomato and Chicken. As part of the Pizza Promo, two pizzas bought come with a portion of delicious Bread Pudding free of charge, or Bread Pudding and 200 grams of savoury biscuits free with every three Pizzas bought.Baskets of fresh fare from the verdant vegetable gardens of Nuwara Eliya are also a special attraction at the Bay Leaf over the weekends. Available as hampers in baskets, the vegetables can also be purchased by weight without the option of a hamper.
