Agents welcome Manoj as SriLankan CEO
The
President together with the Council and Members of the Travel
Agents Association of Sri Lanka (TAASL) last week welcomed
the appointment of Mr. Manoj Gunawardena as the Chief Executive
Officer of SriLankan Airlines.
“Mr. Gunawardena is no stranger to the industry, having
vast direct sales and commercial experience at SriLankan Airlines
and his appointment augurs well for the Outbound Travel Industry
of Sri Lanka,” TAASL said in a statement.
“The membership of TAASL consisting of small, medium
and large travel agents, mainly involved in the outbound sector,
looks forward to working closely with SriLankan Airlines to
achieve positive results in the growth of travel and tourism
in Sri Lanka,” the statement added.
