Year wins for SES. FHA2006 (Food&HotelAsia2006) was awarded
the Exhibition of the Year in the inaugural Singapore Business
Events Awards held in 2007.
The award serves as a testimonial to the efforts of
all of SES staff in consistently delivering world class
exhibitions for the relevant industries in Singapore and the
region, said Mr Stephen Tan, Chief Executive of Singapore
Exhibition Services Pte Ltd. They have been successful
in sustaining very good attendance to the events, year-on-year,
and this plays a significant part in contributing to the development
of the business events landscape in Singapore.
Held in June annually, CommunicAsia is a key trade event for
the infocomm and media industries in Asia. The event featured
a total of 2,413 exhibiting companies over eight halls at
Singapore Expo and attracted 68,192 attendees from across
the world.
Mr Tan attributes the events success to its importance
and relevance as a key regional networking platform. CommunicAsia,
together with BroadcastAsia and CGOverdrive, is uniquely positioned
to offer the spectrum of convergent technologies and applications
that will enhance enterprises mobility and users
lifestyle. With the acceleration in the development of technologies,
the shows have established themselves as the annual trade
event that regional professionals and business leaders must
attend to keep up with the latest in the industry.
