The Management of the Hilton Colombo invited their regular
patrons and friends from the media to the opening night
of the Lungaroth promotion at the Italian fine dining
restaurant Il Ponte. A special menu was served in sit
down fashion, turned out by the expert Chefs, each dish
of which was complemented by a wine to blend with the
course, with a wine Grappa Al Rubesco served with coffee
and petite patisserie. To ensure the invitees were pampered,
was the team from the hotel, apart from the General
Manager William Costley, the Food and Beverage Manager
Kapila Mohotti, Gigi de Silva the Head of Marketing
Communications, Lakmini Raymond, the Commercial Sales
Executive and Vasanthi Gunasekera, the PR Manager. Spotted
among the guest were Debika Pathirana and Anoma Abeynaike,
both in western attire the former in a deep pink dress
and the latter in a grey suit style she wore with a
long silver gray and brown stole. A blue printed top
in the from of a kameez was Mrs. Udeshi’s choice
and there were several foreign guests among them two
blondes, one in light blue denims and a cream tee shirt
top, and the other in a deep blue pants and shirt style
top for a more sophisticated look.
Specially out for the promotion was the Export Manager
Leornado Ricci from Cantine Giorgio Lungarothi Italy.
