Sri Lanka is famous for an unexpectedly many legged,
blue blood bearing creature; the crab!
Walk into any decent restaurant in Singapore and say
you’re from Sri Lanka and their faces light up
with a heavenly glow as they breathe, “You come
from where the crabs are!”
Sri Lankan crab curry is one of the most popular dishes
in Singapore and no self respecting sea food restaurant
will ever publish a menu without it. “Crabs and
chili were made for each other,” one restaurant
states and that’s where the Sri Lankan crab comes
in. Synonymous with spicy and unbearably delicious,
the Sri Lankan Crab Curry is the favorite dish amongst
many Singaporeans and involves a lot of chili.
