Lanka Bell expands payment network with PABC Bank

Top telecommunications solutions provider Lanka Bell’s island-wide bill settlement network has grown by 31 outlets with the company’s new partnership with Pan Asia Banking Corporation (PABC).

Lanka Bell bills can now be settled at any of the PABC branches and the money will be credited to the subscriber’s account.

Lanka Bell Managing Director Prasad Samarasinghe said that the company is happy to welcome a vibrant and growing partner in Pan Asia Bank to its payment network. “Even as we evolve as a major Enterprise Solutions Provider, we are committed to enhance convenience for our voice telephony subscribers by expanding the bill settlement network,” he said.

Lanka Bell also offers bill settlement through the branch networks of 12 other banks, the Commercial Bank of Ceylon, Sampath Bank, Bank of Ceylon, Hatton National Bank, Peoples Bank, HSBC, Nations Trust Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Seylan Bank, National Savings Bank, NDB Bank and DFCC Vardhana Bank as well as 350 plus Singer Sri Lanka outlets.

The only 100 per cent Sri Lankan owned company in the telecommunications sector, Lanka Bell is the second largest ‘fixed line’ provider in the country with more than a million subscribers. Lanka Bell continues to make substantial investments to take its technology and services to all geographic regions and all segments of the market in Sri Lanka.
