Emirates offers special fares to 8 destinations


Travellers east or west out of Colombo can now celebrate the reduced global fuel prices with Emirates.

The award-winning Dubai based international airline has announced attractive new special fares to eight destinations in North America, Europe and Asia making travel instantly more affordable.

The destinations covered by these special fares which are valid till 31st March 2009 are Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Houston, Toronto, London, Milan and Singapore.

Accordingly, an Economy Class return ticket to Los Angeles or San Francisco will cost Rs.125,000 while Economy Class return tickets to New York, Houston or Toronto are offered at Rs.155,000.

An Economy Class return ticket to London is available at just Rs. 95,000, a Business Class return to the same destination at Rs. 240,000, and a First Class return at Rs. 360,000. An Economy Class return ticket to Milan is available at an amazing Rs. 85,000.

To avail of these offers, all sectors of travel should take place on Emirates operated flights. These offers are valid for a maximum stay of three months from the date of departure. One-way tickets at attractive special fares are also available to these destinations.

Meanwhile, Emirates is offering an Economy Class return ticket to Singapore at just Rs.40,000 and a Business Class return ticket for Rs.95,000 for a minimum stay of three days.

“These are timely value-for-money offers that enable travellers to experience Emirates services to some of the most popular destinations for travellers out of Sri Lanka,” Emirate’s Sales Manager Devika Ellepola said. “Our customers continue to book with us not only because we offer competitive airfares but also because we offer a large international network, convenient connections and an award-winning, high quality service.”

She said all travel on these special fares would also accrue Skywards Miles from the airline’s frequent flyer programme, adding more value to the offer. Ms Ellepola added that Emirates passengers would be well advised to watch out for more special offers in the months ahead.

To be eligible for these amazing offers, reservations and ticketing must be completed by 28th February.
