The
Bay Leaf titillates with a new menu !
The Bay Leaf, where Italian cuisine revels
at its best in Colombos gastronomic circuit, explodes
in March with a brand new menu encompassing the finest
savours and aromas and flavours of Italy.Undoubtedly
the citys finest Italian restaurant, The Bay Leaf
conjures up an array of Italian delicacies to titillate
the palates of its discerning Sri Lankan and expatriate
clientèle. The epicurean feast comprises Anti-Pasto,
Salads, Fresh Pastas, Soups, Cannelloni, Ravioli, Fettuccine,
Lasagna, Spaghetti, Risotto, Fish, Red and White meats
with sinful sweets completing the experience ! Meanwhile
Harpos Pizzas have also been literally turned upside
down and back to the front and are now available oven
hot with a whole new range of mouth watering fillings.
From Sunday 15 March until the end of the month, The
Bay Leaf also celebrates a delicious Lamb Promotion
with a range of lamb-based delicacies.
For pasta lovers theres Tagliatelle con
Arrosto di Agnello (Fresh Pasta Roast Lamb, with,
Cream and Parmesan Cheese) and Polpette di Agnello
(Lamb Meatballs served with Fresh Pasta). You can also
take your pick from Insalata con Agnello
(Salad with Roast Lamb, Fetta Cheese, Herbs and Vinaigrette)
and Agnello alla Melanese (Lamb Shank with
Vegetables, Herbs and Red Wine).
The Pizza of the Month is now a fine tuned
tradition at the Bay Leaf and has a rapidly growing
following of its own. March is for all smoked salmon
enthusiasts with Pizza Salmone Affumicato
and its generous share of Mozzarella, Smoked Salmon,
Onions, Tomatoes and Mushrooms.
