The Light of Asia Foundation and the Bandaranaike Memorial
International Conference Hall with the assistance of
Sri Lanka Tourism will run the ‘Buddhist Film Festival
- Vesak 2009’ from 9th to 16th May 2009.
Commencing from 2009 the film festival will be an annual
feature of Vesak celebrations in Sri Lanka and is a
lead up to the grand event planned for the year 2011
when the Buddha Jayanthi will be celebrated.
