Sajith Premadasa, MP for Hambantota district and Chairman of the Janasuwaya Development Foundation has initiated many development projects to upgrade and enhance infrastructure and livelihoods in all of the 12 divisions of Hambantota district. Here Premadasa is distributing savings books and school equipment to 400 children from the Katuwana division of Hambantota district at a cost of Rs. 600,000 from donations received from overseas well-wishers of the Janasuwaya programme
