ODEL launches ‘Otone’ leisure and fitness clothing

Fitness and couture go hand in hand, an inseparable connection that has found articulation in a new clothing range launched at ODEL as a logical follow up  to ‘Otone,’ the personalized fitness boutique  opened recently by Otara Gunewardene.
The range of women’s  and men’s clothing in the active/leisure/fashion wear categories has been provided its own niche in the Ladies section at Odel’s flagship outlet at Alexandra Place, offering a stylish, high quality alternative to leading international activewear brands.
Comprising of tops, pants, shorts and track suits and hoodies the Otone range of clothing is targeted at men and women who like detailed, high-end leisure clothing.
“Fashion goes hand in glove with fitness and shape,” said the brand’s owner and Odel founder Otara Gunewardene. “Otone the gym helps people get into shape and feel good about themselves. The Otone clothing range extends the feel-good factor further, by providing elegant and sporty clothing for those who love and live an active life.”
The Ladies collection of Otone includes ranges such as ‘Top of the world’ and ‘Little bit shimmer,’ which come in all styles and as well as ‘O’ its O,’ and ‘Sunday morning.’ All these items are in assorted colours and are available in all key sizes.
 The Men’s collection comprises of the ‘Wild Woods’ and ‘Winter Sun’ clothing ranges.
 Also located at Odel’s Alexandra Place outlet, the Otone gym which opened in March this year is designed to cater  to the individual needs of fitness seekers of all ages, and is equipped and furnished to provide personal fitness training including aerobics, cardio kick boxing, massage, boot camps and children’s fitness programmes. The centre is run by Ranil Harshana, a professionally qualified fitness specialist.
A former fashion model who conceptualized and built the Odel brand into what it is today, Otara Gunewardene is also the owner of ‘Backstage’ and ‘Six Runs’ brands. Backstage is a brand name encompassing a wide range of trendy ladies jewellery and fashion accessories that has fired the imagination of Sri Lankan women. Six Runs is a brand for an extensive range of items including sports and casual wear and fun accessories at value-for-money prices.
