Jayampathy not for re-election

Chairman of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, Jayampathi Bandaranayake, will not stand for re-election at the Annual General Meeting of the trade body next month. He would be succeeded by Dr. Anura Ekanayake, the present Vice Chairman of the country’s august business forum. The Chamber is yet to announce who would step up to the leadership committee and this is expected to take place shortly prior to the AGM.
