Ananda records 22-nil win

Ananda College triumphed easily over St. Sylvester’s by 22 points to nil in a President’s Schools League Rugby Division 1 segment ‘B’ match played at the Bogambara Stadium in Kandy yesterday. The winners led 3-nil at half-time. Hooker Eric Balasuriya, second row forwards Charith Mapatuna and Kasun Nagahawatte scored a try each for Ananda. Prop forward Uchira Jayasundara converted a try and a penalty while Mapatuna put over a try for the winners who recorded their second victory of the season.
