Experience Nepalese cuisine at its best when Cinnamon Grand in association with the Nepal Embassy in Colombo brings you Sri Lanka’s first ever Nepalese Food Promotion from the 2nd to the 12th of July at the Atrium Café. At just Rs 990/= +++ this is your chance to savour authentic Nepalese cuisine. Doing the honours will be two of Nepal’s leading chefs Nagarkoti and Pokhrel. 
“Nepal’s cultural diversity has provided an ample space for the growth of a number of cuisines based on the ethnic groups and the geographical features of the nation and hence, Nepalese cuisine encompasses a whole array of different cuisines,” said Executive Chef Morugama.
Chef Pokhrel hails from Kathmandu and currently works at the Soaltee Crowne Plaza Hotel and Resort while Chef Nagarkoti specialises in Indian and Nepali cuisine.
The special menu offers starters such as Pickled Dry Meat, Chicken Dimsum and Fried Mushroom to Fried Lentil Dumplings, Spicy Lamb Nuggets and Stir Fried Fish with Local Spices and Fenugreek. Soups and salads include Mutton Soup, Preserved Mustard Leaf Consommé, Pickled Potatoes, Radish and Cucumber Salad, Banana Flower and Dry Peas Salad, Dry Fish and Tomatoes Salad and much more!
The main course consists of Vegetable Biriyani, Fenugreek Flavoured Rice, Stir Fried Lamb Curry, Spicy Chicken Nuggets, Chicken and Spinach Curry, Fish and Preserved Radish Curry, Prawn with Roasted Sesame and Pickled Radish Curry, Preserved Mustard Leaf and Soya Bean Curry, Yam and Spinach Curry and lots more. Desserts include Sweet Pancake with Saffron flavored reduced milk, Local Jeelebi, Sweet rice flour pancake amongst others.
