Talk on risk and ratings in the current economic climate

CIMA Sri Lanka Division will be hosting an evening discussion programme in collaboration with RAM Ratings (Lanka) Ltd on the topic ‘Risk and ratings in the current economic climate’ on July 16 from 5.30 to 8.00pm at the Auditorium, CIMA Sri Lanka Division.
Resource persons will be Adrian Perera, CEO, RAM Ratings (Lanka) Ltd. and Fran P. Jerome, Manager - Head of Rating, RAM Ratings (Lanka) Ltd.
This session will cover essential elements of the global economic and financial crisis and its impact on associated ‘risk’ of a company, the internationally growing concern on credit risk, the role of securities and credit default swaps, key concepts of corporate risk analysis and credit rating. The forum will also cover the importance of CIMA Strategic Scorecard as an essential tool for Enterprise Governance especially during times of economic meltdown.
