John and Yapa head COPE and PAC

Power and Energy Minister, John Seneviratne and Media Minister, Anura Priyadarshana Yapa were today elected uncontested as Chairmen of the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) and the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) for the current year.
The Government and Opposition had both reportedly expressed satisfaction over the manner the two ministers conducted affairs of the two most important committees in Parliament.
