Aitken Spence wins Travel Trade Bowls
Ranil Nimalasena and Salman Haque shared 368 points to steer Aitken Spence Travels ‘C’ to lift the brand new Amadeus Trophy winning the 8th Travel Trade Sports Club Bowling Championships concluded at the Strikes Cosmic Bowling Centre, Excel World. Walkers Tours ‘B’ and United Holidays came second and third respectively.
Thirty-eight teams bowled on the first day of which the top scoring 16 teams advanced into the second round.

The award for the top scorer in the final round went to Afdhal Mohamed who scored 196 pins for Walkers Tours ‘B’. Incidentally that was highest in the whole tournament.
