‘Rock & Maul 09’

The Annual Old Thomians’ Rugby Union get-together, aptly named ‘Rock & Maul 09’ will be held on Saturday July 18 at the Union Ballroom, Hilton Colombo Residence (Jaic Hilton).
This annual event has been a tremendous success over the years and the organisers have made elaborate plans to ensure this success is carried forward during this year as well. This year will see the present Thomian first XV team being hosted by the OTRFU as recognition of their achievements and as an overall celebration of the resurgence of Thomian rugby during the past year.
Close to 200 people are expected at this event and the guest list includes the crème-de-la-crème of the corporate world and decision makers in Sri Lanka, providing a captive audience for the marketing of business and consumer services.
The proceeds of this event will be channelled towards the Thomian Rugby Fund, an intrepid venture implemented to ensure the upliftment of rugby at S. Thomas’ College. More details on the event can be had from Shehan Perera on 0777 789626.
