Gas prices up from midnight

August 31 2009, 5.20pm: Gas prices will be increased with effect from midnight today. Consumer Affairs Minister Bandula Gunawardene announced that the new price of a Shell gas cylinder will be Rs.1 550 and Laugfs Rs. 1,476 per cylinder.
