Sri Lanka nursing a few niggling injuries to their bowlers are bound to make changes to their team for the second Test against New Zealand beginning at the SSC ground today.
All-rounder Angelo Mathews has already been ruled out of the Test with a hamstring injury which kept him off the field during the New Zealand innings at Galle where Sri Lanka won by 202 runs to take 1-0 lead in the series. Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakarra confirmed that Mathews’ replacement would be middle order bat Chamara Kapugedera.
