Govt. sure
of GSP+ deal but UNP wary
The Government is confidently stepping up its lobbying for the extension of GSP+ whilst the main Opposition UNP yesterday reiterated its reservations.
The securing of GSP+ concessions is gathering heat as the European Commission (EC) prepares to determine the verdict on October 15 to be communicated to the 27 member European Council for further deliberation.
