Navy downs Army in opening game

A scoreless second half ended the inaugural game of the Inter-Defence Services rugby tournament in favour of Sri Lanka Navy who beat Sri Lanka Army by a narrow 10 points to 8 at the Ratmalana Air Force Base yesterday. All points were collected in the first half where wing-three-quarter Nuwan Hettiarachchi scored a well covered try for Navy to open the account.
