Mithun, Pragharan into
second round

On Monday in the first round of the match play championship at the LG 109th All-India Amateur which is being played at the par-72 Oxford Golf & Country Club both Sri Lankan players made it to the second round. While Mithun Perera managed to register a comfortable win, Pragharan, winner of the All-India in 2007, was taken to the 20th hole by Bhawani Parmar, where he had to make a 15-foot, right-to-left swinging putt to clinch the win.
