CDB records Rs 40.5mn pre-tax profit in Q1 2010

Citizens Development Business Finance Ltd. (CDB) announced its pre-tax profit of Rs.40.5mn for the first quarter of 2010, a growth of Rs.27.7mn or 217 % over the corresponding period last year. The post-tax profit of CDB for the first quarter ended June 30, 2010 amounted to Rs.34.5mn, a growth of Rs. 24.7mn or 253%. Read More

HNB Group post tax profit increased

Hatton National Bank PLC, recorded a pretax profit of Rs. 2.89 billion in H1 2010 in comparison to Rs. 2.72 billion in the corresponding period 2009 despite pressures on interest margins, while the post tax profit of the bank improved to Rs. 1.79 billion during the 6 months under review from Rs. 1.77 billion in the first 6 months of 2009.
